CALLING ALL FELLOWS, POSTDOCS, AND EARLY CAREER RESEARCHERS

 

The American Thyroid Association® (ATA®), Bite Me Cancer and ThyCa: Thyroid Cancer Survivors’ Association, Inc. are excited to announce the availability of funds to support new and early career thyroid researchers.  New this year, fellows and postdocs are eligible to apply for all grant types!

 

Who: New investigators (US & international), clinical fellows, postdoctoral fellows, & early career researchers. 

 

What: Gain recognition and funding through an ATA® , Bite Me Cancer or ThyCa Research Grant. These prestigious awards provide up to $25,000/year for 2 years to launch your thyroid research career. 

 

Areas:

  • Thyroid Cancer including Medullary Thyroid Cancer and Well-Differentiated Thyroid Cancer 
  • Health Disparities 
  • Health Services Research and Health Economics 
  • Thyroid Imaging 
  • Thyroid Nodules 
  • Disorder of Thyroid Function 
  • Iodine Update and Metabolism 
  • Thyroid Hormone in Development 
  • Thyroid and Pregnancy 

 

Aim: Support pilot and feasibility studies & launch successful research careers.  Previous grant recipients have used these projects as opportunities to launch thyroid research careers and ultimately apply for larger national grants (i.e.NIH)
