Interim Devices Working Group needs members

The Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) is looking to appoint 9 professional members to the Interim Devices Working Group.

The Interim Devices Working Group is a working group formed to provide expert advice regarding decisions on the safety, performance, benefits and risks of devices in use in the United Kingdom healthcare system, prior to the launch of the statutory committee under the Medicines and Medical Devices Act 2021 in 2023.

Candidates should have experience and proven knowledge of the world of medical devices and gravitas with external stakeholders and partner organisations within the wider health and social care system. We are looking for candidates with a wide range of clinical and scientific backgrounds and expertise.  Candidates should be recognised by their peers as leaders in their field (either as a healthcare professional or in academia)
